The girls gave me this for Christmas, a foot massager. Finally used it and it makes a humming sound. That got Callie's attention. Guess she thought she was being brave.

Out with the old. The old hospital being torn down in Grove. This is where Grandpa (B-man's dad) died almost 2 years ago, this is the door I walked in to get to his room. There is a newer, better hospital up the road and by next year on this spot will be a brand new grocery store.

My attempt at making some kind of frozen coffee drink. Fail. I used a Starbucks Frappuccino but it wasn't chilled so it was too watered down and just tasted like brown ice. Maybe next time I need to freeze the Frappuccino first.

It was supposed to be a big deal, tonight the moon was going to be the biggest and brightest it has been in more than 18yrs. I really didn't notice a difference maybe because where we live the moon always looks big and bright.

Traci and I are both doing this 'picture of the day' and sometimes we take a picture of the same thing. Today Traci couldn't take a picture because her batteries were dead so she used my camera to take her POTD. Then I realized that I didn't get a picture today so I am using the one she took. It all works out in the end LOL**note to self.....scrub walls before taking pictures

We went to a birthday dinner and it was held at a community center/library. In the main area were shelves of books for sale and I saw this, the same book I had when I took my Intro to Special Ed class. Sure brought back a lot of college memories. And no, I did not buy it. Heck, I probably still have mine around here somewhere.

See this? See those hands? See those hands on THAT cat? This is something that just 6 months ago would have been impossible, not without getting your arm shredded. We have had this cat for 9yrs. and she has never liked to be held. You could pet her but don't hold her. After Thanksgiving I finally had her declawed and since then she has really, really mellowed. Should have done that a long time ago!

Today was a busy day. I went to Bristow to pick up Traci and spend the day with Kimberlie. First Kimberlie and I went out for lunch at Fat Charlie's in Sapulpa then we went out with Mandi for dinner, we had snacks. It was ladies night at the casino and the girls wanted to go. Last time I went to a casino was more than a year ago. For ladies night we got $5 and with that I won $13.

We have lived here almost 6 yrs. and for almost 6yrs we have had very few water woes. B-man has always treated the well with chlorine tablets, the water goes through 2 filters and a water softener and up until a few months ago this has stopped any issues that may have come up. Now for reasons unknown I am seeing what looks like sand in the water. Not much, just teeny tiny bits but enough that I run all cooking and drinking water through a filter now.
